Principal's Message

 

Welcome to the 2024-25 school year at Mountain View!

We are excited to welcome our new and returning students for this school year.  School begins at 8:45 each day with breakfast served in the classroom at 8:40.  Breakfast is free for all students.  Dismissal is at 3:15 except for Wednesdays, in which we dismiss at 2:15 for staff professional development.

Mountain View Elementary School provides a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and growth by empowering every student to achieve their personal best.  We work collaboratively with staff, parents, and students to ensure success.  Parents are encouraged to keep open communication with our teachers and staff in order to ensure student success.   

 

At Mountain View Elementary School we believe that all children can learn.  We believe in a collaborative culture in which we all work together to reach high expectations through a high level of support.  Teachers and staff will be supporting students as they learn using a guaranteed and viable curriculum.  We believe highly effective teachers that support all students make a difference.  We believe in making decisions based on students and being data driven.  We believe in providing a clear direction for both academic and personal achievement.

I look forward to the upcoming school year and in continuing to create relationships with all of the students and families of Mountain View Elementary School.
